Preparations in OpenCart: Create Secret Key <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For the connection between reybex and OpenCart you need the OpenCart Rest Admin API<\/strong><\/a>. You can buy it via the link to the OpenCart shop. Now integrate the Rest Admin API into your shop backend:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to your OpenCart backend.<\/li>
  2. Open the Extensions tab<\/strong> (puzzle piece icon) > click Extensions <\/strong>> select the Rest Admin API<\/strong><\/a> under modules <\/strong>and add it to your Admin Area. <\/li>
  3. Open the Rest Admin API by clicking on the Edit <\/strong>button (Pen).<\/li>
  4. Copy the Secret Key<\/strong> from the rest of the Admin API Settings.  <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Connect OpenCart Shop with reybex<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    1. Open the transaction Marketplace Wizard [OMP06]<\/strong>. <\/li>
    2.  Click on the Available Shops<\/strong> tab > choose OpenCart<\/strong>.<\/li>
    3. Enter a reybex internal name for the online shop.<\/li>
    4. Copy the shop URL from your OpenCart shop > enter this URL into the field Endpoint URL<\/strong> in reybex and add this addition at the end: \/api\/rest_admin<\/strong>. <\/li>
    5. Copy the newly created secret key and enter it into the field Secret Key<\/strong> in reybex. <\/li>
    6. Click the Active <\/strong>checkbox to activate the connection between OpenCart and reybex.<\/li>
    7. Test the connection. <\/li>
    8. Click Proceed > <\/strong>fill in the required fields.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Please note: If you copy&paste your data from OpenCart to reybex, please make sure that you do not copy any spaces. This leads to errors in the connection to your OpenCart Shop.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Import OpenCart categories to reybex<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      In the last step of the wizard you import your OpenCart categories to reybex. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Click Read categories<\/strong>. <\/li>
      2. Click Save and start article import<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
